Your tasks

  • Overall responsibility for defined product groups, including the development of product group strategies
  • Conducting global market and competitive analyses, as well as monitoring trends and prices
  • Identifying international suppliers, conducting negotiations, and establishing long-term partnerships
  • Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance, as well as actively managing risk
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities with internal partners and conducting make-or-buy analyses
  • Systematic use of key performance indicators to reduce TCO and promote continuous improvement and best-practice approaches

Your Profile

  • Basic technical training with advanced training in business administration or supply chain management (SCM) at the FH/HF level
  • Excellent technical, mechanical, and plastics-related expertise
  • Several years of professional experience in strategic and international procurement at an industrial company
  • Strong methodological knowledge of category management
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and intercultural competence, with a proven track record
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and procurement platforms is a plus
