To strengthen our Product Engineering team within Industrial Heating at Leister Technologies AG, we are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on professional who enjoys taking ownership, driving projects forward and turning ideas into reality.

Our Industrial Heating team develops innovative, high-quality products and technologies for industrial applications, with a particular focus on process heat and infrared technologies. It’s an environment where engineering expertise, new ideas and collaboration come together to create solutions that make a real difference.

Your tasks

  • Develop innovative solutions across engineering, design, manufacturing and assembly
  • Contribute to product development projects from the initial idea through to product launch, following our innovation process
  • Support the manufacturing and assembly of functional models, prototypes and pilot series
  • Plan, conduct and document component, product and system testing
  • Take ownership of conformity assessments, ensuring they are completed accurately, on time and in line with relevant standards and regulations
  • Document key findings and share insights with R&D and Quality Management
  • Support the ongoing development and continuous improvement of existing products and solutions

Your Profile

  • Technical apprenticeship as a design engineer, combined with several years of professional experience and/or further education in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering (HF/FH or equivalent)
  • Experience in designing industrial series products in a cost- and quality-conscious environment
  • Strong CAD skills, ideally with Siemens Solid Edge, and preferably experience with ERP systems such as SAP
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection moulding, materials and production technologies is an advantage
  • Very good German and good English, both written and spoken
