Process Expert SAP Manufacturing, Planning and Quality

Description of the Scope of Work

Leister Technologies AG is implementing SAP S/4HANA using a greenfield approach. S/4HANA will involve the use of many modules and peripheral systems, such as SAP EWM, PP, MRP, QM, etc. This rollout of our own SAP template represents a major step forward in our digital transformation, enabling us to redesign our production, planning, logistics, and sales processes from the ground up in a modern and optimized manner. A wide variety of products, varying levels of vertical integration—including in-house component production in some cases—diverse markets and seasonal fluctuations, as well as the distinctive and varied skills of our production staff, require the implementation of specific SAP-supported strategies and solutions. Following the go-live in Sarnen, we plan to roll out S/4HANA to our international sales organizations.

SAP Manufacturing, Planning, and Quality Process Expert

Help shape the digital future of manufacturing and supply chain management. Do you have experience in this area and would you like to actively help shape production- and SCM-related business processes? In this key role, would you like to contribute significantly to building a high-performance ERP and EWM system landscape—and thereby support the company’s ambitious growth—by working on the development, implementation, and, after go-live, the continuous optimization and further development of these processes in conjunction with S/4HANA?

  • As a Process Expert for your area, you’ll collaborate with the Global Process Owner. This governance model is part of the S/4HANA roll-in project, in which you’ll serve as a Global Process Expert. After go-live, this subject matter expertise may lead to similar roll-in projects at international subsidiaries with production operations.
  • As a Process Expert, you bridge the gap between business and IT, drive standardization and digitalization, and ensure that processes are designed to be efficient, integrated, up-to-date, and future-proof.

Your tasks

  • You will shape and define the future process landscape in the areas of Manufacturing, Planning, and Quality on a global scale.
  • You will develop harmonized end-to-end processes and ensure their successful implementation as part of our SAP S/4HANA transformation.
  • Together with the business units, you will identify opportunities for optimization, analyze requirements, and translate them into sustainable and scalable SAP solutions.
  • You will drive the standardization and continuous improvement of production, planning, and quality processes across the entire value chain.
  • As the central point of contact, you will coordinate collaboration between the business, Group IT, and external implementation partners.
  • You will be responsible for planning, prioritizing, and managing projects, resources, and requirements within your area of responsibility.
  • You will oversee system rollouts, testing, and go-live activities, ensuring a smooth transition to the new SAP landscape.
  • You will promote knowledge transfer within the organization and empower key users and business units to handle future processes and systems.
  • You ensure transparent risk, escalation, and stakeholder management and lay the foundation for well-informed decisions.
  • You actively drive digital transformation and the continuous improvement of processes, systems, and work methods.

Your Profile

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in the introduction, implementation, or further development of SAP S/4HANA solutions in an industrial setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of production, production planning, materials planning, and quality management.
  • Good knowledge of the SAP modules PP, PP/DS, MM, and EWM, as well as a strong understanding of integrated end-to-end processes.
  • Experience leading transformation, optimization, or implementation projects.
  • The ability to reconcile differing interests and successfully drive change.
  • Experience collaborating with international stakeholders and within cross-functional organizations.
  • An analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach combined with strong execution skills.
  • A confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and a passion for rallying people around shared goals.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.

What you can expect

  • A key role in an international SAP S/4HANA transformation with significant creative freedom.
  • The opportunity to actively help shape global processes and have a lasting impact on the future of manufacturing, planning, and quality.
  • An exciting environment where you’ll bring business, processes, and technology together.
  • Collaboration with dedicated functional teams, international stakeholders, and experienced SAP experts.
  • Short decision-making paths and the chance to quickly put ideas into action.
  • A modern work environment focused on innovation, digitalization, and continuous improvement.
  • A wide range of opportunities for professional and personal development.
  • Attractive employment conditions and flexible work models.
  • A corporate culture based on trust, personal responsibility, and collaboration.
