
As part of the Procurement Department at Leister Technologies AG, you ensure that materials and services are available at the right time, in the required quality, and at optimal cost. Through your technical expertise and strong negotiation skills, you make a significant contribution to the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes and overall business.
Your tasks
• Procuring and planning materials and external services within assigned product categories
• Monitoring order confirmations, delivery schedules, pricing and quality
• Obtaining, analysing and negotiating quotations in the international procurement market
• Negotiating and concluding framework agreements
• Managing inventory levels, inventory turnover, and optimal order quantities and lot sizes
• Ensuring supplier delivery performance (OTD, quantity and quality), including escalation management
• Maintaining and ensuring accurate material and supplier master data in the ERP system
• Working closely with Category Management and collaborating cross-functionally with Production Planning, Quality and Logistics
• Processing non-conformance reports (NOD)
• Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives (CIP)
Your Profile
• Technical vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics or Mechatronics, complemented by further education in Purchasing or Business Administration
• Several years of professional experience in international procurement, ideally within an industrial manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in working with SAP S/4HANA
• Dedicated, reliable and goal-oriented working style
• Strong assertiveness, resilience and a collaborative team-oriented mindset
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
