Application Engineer Micro Optics
For our team in Micro Optics Application Engineering, we are looking for a customer-oriented, committed, and proactive personality.
Your tasks
- technical responsibility for customer projects
- supporting Sales, partners and customers with technical enquiries and feasibility studies
- assistance with complex acquisition projects as well as participation in trade fairs and customer visits
- convert customer requirements into technical specifications
- Supports the team and actively collaborates in market analysis and evaluations of new applications
- follow-up of customer complaints incl. solution development
- creation of training materials for the sales department
- global travel 10 – 20%
Your Profile
- B.Sc. M.Sc. degree in physics, electrical engineering, optics or equivalent
- several years experience in design and simulations of optical components
- practical experience in MEMS / microtechnology or semiconductor technology is an advantage
- previous experience in collaborating with external customers or suppliers
- strong team player, passionate
- Proficiency in English, Chinese is a plus
