Process Technician

For the R&D, Wafer Production Engineering team within the Backend department, we are looking for a reliable and committed individual to join us as a Process Technician.

Your tasks

  • First-level support and technical assistance for equipment and process issues in production
  • Analysis of equipment alarms or interruptions, including deciding whether a machine should be classified as UP or DOWN
  • Ensuring the correct operation of equipment within the daily production process:
    • Performing setup, configuration, and programming tasks in accordance with approved standards
    • Supporting requalification activities following maintenance work or configuration changes
    • Assisting with routine inspections, testing, and maintenance activities
  • Training new operators, verifying compliance with established work methods, revising and/or creating new work instructions, and monitoring adherence to safety regulations

Your Profile

  • Completed technical vocational training, ideally supplemented by further education as a Higher Technical College (HF) Technician
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in microtechnology or semiconductor production
  • Familiarity with production equipment and basic measurement technology
  • Proficiency in working with PC-based systems (MES, MS Office, equipment interfaces)
  • A quality-oriented, reliable, and committed personality with a precise and independent working style
  • Good German and English language skills
