Technical Support Engineer

Small in size, big in impact. At Axetris AG in Central Switzerland, we develop and manufacture micro-optical components and laser-based gas detectors with passion and care. They enable reliable data transmission and precise emissions measurements around the world. We combine our specialized expertise with the strength of the Leister Group, an international organization with more than 900 employees and 130 sales partners.

 

When it comes to complex questions about our gas sensing solutions, you are the technical point of contact for our customers and distribution partners. From the initial analysis through to successful resolution, you manage support cases end-to-end and ensure that our customers can rely on us at every stage of their jour-ney.

Your impact

  • Customers and distribution partners worldwide rely on your technical expertise
  • You analyse technical issues and develop sustainable solutions for demanding applications
  • Together with Sales, Product Management, Quality, Repair and R&D, you ensure a smooth flow of infor-mation
  • You independently perform product testing, data analysis and technical investigations
  • You travel globally to support commissioning activities and on-site customer assignments
  • Your customer feedback directly contributes to the continuous improvement of our products

Your expertise

With your strong technical understanding, you analyse and resolve complex challenges in a structured and independent manner. Experience in sensing technologies, measurement systems or industrial applications is an advantage. You stand out through your customer-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills and hands-on approach. You enjoy working across functions, thrive in an international environment and see wor-ldwide travel as an enriching part of the role. You hold a completed degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc.) in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Microsystems Technology, Instrumentation, Process Engineering or a related technical discipline. In addition, you bring experience in technical support, application engineering or a comparable customer-facing technical role. Knowledge of sensing technologies, measurement systems or industrial ap-plications, combined with fluent English skills, completes your profile.
